About Us

Howdy! 

My name is JoAnna, I am the one and only owner of SaddlbackDarlingz. I sew and package EVERYTHING all by myself. I am born and raised in the KC metro area of Missouri. Now, for the past 2 years I have been living in central Illinois. I am a HUGE greys anatomy fan. I am currently engaged to my wonderful fiancé, COVID delayed our wedding or he would be my husband now. I am a stay at home mom to my sweet baby boy, Weston. My shop keeps me home with my little one while still helping to provide for our family.

I started an Etsy back in August of 2019, with no idea what would come out of my shop. First I started out making t-shirts, and it was a flop. And to be honest with you, it just didn’t suit me. 

My mother brought me my old sewing machine and her serger in May of 2020. After two weeks of thinking what to do with it, I ordered some bullet fabric. I purchased some bummie and bow patterns. And the rest is history. I found something I had a passion for and loved doing. 

Now that I am finally doing well from Etsy, I decided that it is time to start my own shop website. I am forever thankful for Etsy giving me a starting place. I am currently sitting at almost 1,200 sales since being open with a 5 star shop. 

I absolutely cannot wait to see how this website turns out and see all the amazing customers show love to our new site. Thank you so much for your support over the years. It truly means so much to me. Every order deserves a happy dance.
